Each year, students in the Interior Architecture and Design Program鈥檚 Furniture Design and Construction class have the opportunity to compete in Chair Affair, an event sponsored by Interior Designers of Idaho. Chair Affair showcases handcrafted furniture from design professionals and students across the Pacific Northwest.

Students also submit their work to the International Woodworking Fair鈥檚 (IWF) Student Design Competition. IWF is the premier platform to the largest woodworking market in the world.
